INFORMATION ABOUT THE ACTIVITIES OF DUVAKHAN AND KAIDUKHAN IN SOURCES

Abstract
This article analyzes the activities of Duvakhan, the tenth khan of the
Chagatai ulus, and Kaidukhan, the grandson of Ogedei, who kept the ulus under
his political influence. It highlights the significance of the Chagatai and Ogedei
alliance, its foreign policy priorities, and Duvakhan's relations with the rulers of
the Yuan Empire, the Ilkhanate, and the Golden Horde. The sources are
information from historians of the Mongolian era (Historical works by Rashid alDin, Wassaf, Qashoni, Natanzi, Mirkhand and others).
