Abstract
The problem of studying the process of urbanization of the society is one of the
main tasks of the science of history. Archaeological sources and monuments found
in the study of the first stages of the cultures of each city are of special importance.
In order to fully study the processes of urbanization, it is important to review the
scientific works of scientists who conducted archaeological research and compare
them with modern analysis.
