Abstract
This article aims to explore current issues regarding Ibn an-Nadim, who lived and worked in the Arab Caliphate during the Middle Ages, and his work "Kitab al-Fihrist." At present, Ibn an-Nadim's "Kitab al-Fihrist" serves as a crucial source for studying the scientific and literary heritage of that era. The compilation and descriptions of works written during that period on science, history, philosophy, literature, and other fields are of immense value for scholarly research. This aspect contributes to the reconstruction of lost or damaged works and offers insights into the cultural life of that time.
