Abstract

This article highlights the fact that during the reign of Amir Temur, Kurultais functioned as one of the most important political institutions of the state administration system, and that Kurultais were an integral successor to the traditions of Turkic statehood, playing a decisive role in ensuring the legitimacy of state power, making important political and military decisions based on collective discussion, and that the principles of consultation, justice and representation were established in state administration through Kurultais..
