Abstract
The Turkic Council is one of the most important manifestations of the multifaceted relations between Turkey and Turkic-speaking states. Before the establishment of the Turkic Council, many summits were held, laying the foundation for cooperation in the Turkic world. An international organizational structure was established with the Nakhchivan Agreement of 2009. This article discusses the main structures and bodies of the Turkic Council, whose official name in the Nakhchivan Agreement is the “Cooperation Council of Turkic-Speaking States”, and their activities.
